Since there may be periodic changes in patterns of vaccination, we consider essential, see CENTER, closer international vaccination.

Vaccines

As a guideline, the indications are the following:

  • Yellow fever. Required to access Tanzania and Kenya
  • Tetanus and diphtheria. Advisable
  • Typhoid. Advisable
  • Hepatitis A. Recommended
  • Rabies. Advisable
  • Antimalarial treatment to prevent malaria.

Emergency Kits

For preparation of the kit, we recommend going to the International Vaccine Centre, where you will find, in addition to the mandatory and recommended vaccines, the most appropriate kit contents.

From our personal experience:

  • Mosquito repellent for extreme conditions (Goibi, Relec …)
  • Antipyretics, analgesics.
  • Anti-inflammatories
  • Antidiarreal
  • Oral rehydration salts
  • Eye drops
  • Antihistamines
  • Stomach protector
  • Treatment of chancre sores
  • Material for small cures (plasters, bandages, scissors, tape, gauze, iodine, hydrogen peroxide …)
  • Thermometer

We must not forget that this is only a small domestic kit for minor ailments. It is highly recommended you purchase MEDICAL INSURANCE, since before any discomfort on a trip of this kind tend to magnify and we always give peace of mind to know that we have a service provider, for any mishap.
