Samburu National Reserve

Samburu National Reserve belongs to the are of three national reserves, known as National Reserves of Samburu, Buffalo Springs and Shaba, covering 300 square kilometers, which is the most visited protected area in the northern area.

Elephants, reticulated giraffes, Somali ostrich, Grevy’s zebras, oryx and Beisa generuks, are the main attractions of the park.

Flora also figures prominently due to the amazing rocky outcrops and palm trees dum, offering landscapes of great beauty, which also highlight the contrast between the broad savannahs, springs, greenery Samburu river and desert shrubs.
